ATHENA International 2009 Leadership Summit Brings Together Leading Women's Organizations and Individual Women Leaders
CHICAGO, Sept. 3, 2008 -- ATHENA International, an organization
recognized worldwide as supporting, honoring and developing women in
leadership, announces the inaugural collaborative Leadership Summit
designed to collectively develop and enhance leadership strategies for
women in the 21st century.
"We're delighted that the 2009 ATHENA International Leadership Summit
will focus on collaboration with invited leading women's organizations as a
key strategy for progress," announced Dianne Dinkel, Acting Director of
ATHENA International. "The Summit will provide opportunities for peer
interaction amongst leading women's organizations and individuals, along
with the potential for expanding global connections."
Women from around the world will attend the event, including many
ATHENA Award Recipients, finalists, and other outstanding women. Many
top-level speakers will be presenting at the summit. A gala dinner to honor
women leaders will include the presentation of the International ATHENA
Award and the International ATHENA Young Professional Award.

The 2009 ATHENA International Leadership Summit will be held on March
15-17, at the Renaissance Hotel in Chicago. The event is open to those
interested in attending to hear outstanding women leaders, network with
other women professionals and learn more about leadership strategies for
women.
