To meet the needs women have in their daily lives, their careers, their families and their communities, General Motors designs, develops and produces products with the quality, safety, technology and fuel efficiency women want and need.
General Motors recognizes the need to build an organization that values every human being, allowing every one to follow their own passion to succeed and realize their vast potential. Today, more women than ever are showing they have a passion to succeed in business, taking leadership positions as well as starting their own companies. For this reason among many, GM has been a partner with ATHENA International for over 25 years, building at the national and grass roots levels for assisting women in reaching their full leadership potential.
“We enthusiastically support our local ATHENA Award program, as we have since it began. It’s an honor and a privilege to recognize outstanding women in our community”.
