ATHENA Global Links® Program

The ATHENA Global Links® Program is a mentoring program that integrates students’ formal education with expertise and practical knowledge from mentors who are successful women leaders. These mentors, many of whom are ATHENA Award Recipients, are actively engaged in living out the eight tenets of the ATHENA Leadership Model®. This collaborative partnership of mentor and mentee enhances the learning of students, engages women as leaders through participation in mentoring, augments the academic leadership curriculum, and increases awareness and understanding of people of different backgrounds and cultures.

ATHENA International successfully partnered with Zayed University, a university for women in the United Arab Emirates, in an eMentoring program linking ATHENA Award Recipients with Zayed honor students. Utilizing web technology, the ATHENA Global Links® Program provided opportunities to Zayed students to interact with proven leaders in an ever changing global marketplace.
