Avoiding an Acai Scam
January 28, 2010
Acai berry has been proven to have major health benefits which cannot be found in other fruits. As a result, health products sold by various companies on the internet proliferated. However, there are only a few companies who are legitimate and have not racked up a number of complaints on the Better Business Bureau. Fortunately companies like Visa and the BBB are starting to crack down on this unethical behavior. Visa shutdown acai company accounts where they determined that there was unethical marketing going on.
If you have seen an Acai free trial offer somewhere or on the internet, do not go for it. Chances are these are scams. Fly by night companies are doing it to attract customers like you to sign up with them, with the real intention of these offers is to get your credit card details so they can bill you for subscriptions you did not make.
To test a company producing Acai products, you can contact them like you’re a customer. Tell them that you want to cancel your subscription with them. You will not stay on the phone long before finding out that they do not allow cancellation of subscriptions. This will tell you that the company is a scam. This is a quick and efficient test of the legitimacy of a company.
Acai berry has enough nutrients in it to give you a better life. But if you are going to get an inferior product from a fake company, you will not get the benefits that are promised by the fruit.
